online communities

Google subscribed links

There's a new service from Google called Subscribed Links. http://www.google.com/coop/subscribedlinks/

It enables you to create custom search results that you can add to your Google search pages. Users can display links to services for their customers, as well as providing news and status information updated in near-real-time, answering of questions, calculation of useful quantities, and more.

It is interesting how feedback, reviews and comments are playing a larger role in Google's offerings. It won't be long now before customer reviews will influence your Google ranking. That means that how you participate online and manage your online conversations with your customers will become vital to your search profile, and social media and online communities will be even more important for SEO purposes.
